The design contract includes two high-rise towers connected by an atrium spread across an area of 2.5 million square feet.
The building will house a 64-storey hotel and extended stay apartment building, as well as a 42-storey office tower that will be connected by an elliptical atrium.
The building will feature three levels of shopping, dining and entertainment.
Developers of the project also plan to build 16 buildings for residential and retail use, for which the architect will be chosen later, according to Baltimoresun.com
