RTKL, a subsidiary of Arcadis, alongside local architects Proarch and Planning Architectural Studio, has finished the schematic design for the Paradise Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Currently under construction, the 82,500m² lifestyle centre will feature architecture, interior design and environmental graphic design and wayfinding provided by RTKL.

Upon completion, the Paradise Centre will provide 22,000m² of leisure space and more than 240 shops.

The building has been designed with dynamic architecture that connects to the city and maximises views toward the famed Vitosha mountains.

The centre will feature an atrium garden at its heart, complete with dramatic landscaped water features, green walls and cascading planting.

Outdoor terraces will host a food court and premium dining, located in box-like structures overlooking the mountain.
