Architectural firm RMJM has begun work on a new sixth form college campus in Newcastle, UK.

The 11,000m² building for Newcastle College has been designed by the practice’s Scottish studio and is being built close to the city centre, according to bdonline.co.uk.

The new campus, being built for use by 16 to 19 year olds, will include modern practical and learning facilities, according RMJM studio director Conor Pittman.

The campus is slated for completion in 2013.
