Cerner Corporation has unveiled plans to build two stainless-steel and glass office towers, which will accommodate 4,000 employees, in Wyandotte County, Kansas, US.
The new Cerner office park, designed by Gould Evans, covers 58 acres south of State Avenue between Village West Parkway and Interstate 435.
The buildings’ exterior design will look like a digitalised image of human DNA.
Construction work on the first nine-storey building is expected to begin within six months, and the entire 660,000ft2 development is to be completed by mid-2015, according to kansascity.com.
The first tower, which is scheduled to be complete by 2013, will accommodate employees, while its sister building will house a cafeteria, fitness centre and other amenities.
