The Newport Beach City Council in California, US, has approved a plan for Mariner’s Pointe, a mixed-use project at the city’s Mariner’s Mile that will include retail and restaurant space.

The city council has approved the construction of a 20,000ft² mixed-use development designed by Stoutenborough Architects and Planners.

The project is being developed by Ridgeway Development, incorporates a restaurant and retail space with a three-level parking garage, like that of a Mediterranean village.

The mixed-use project will create a high-quality destination in the Mariner’s Mile location.
