Swire to break ground on Brickell CitiCentre mixed-use project in Miami

Swire Properties and architect Arquitectonica plan to break ground on the Brickell CitiCentre mixed-use project by the second quarter of 2012. The 4.6-million-square-foot project will incorporate over 500,000ft² of retail and entertainment space, a 290-room EAST hotel and 77 rental

Swire Properties and architect Arquitectonica plan to break ground on the Brickell CitiCentre mixed-use project by the second quarter of 2012.

The 4.6-million-square-foot project will incorporate over 500,000ft² of retail and entertainment space, a 290-room EAST hotel and 77 rental apartments, 455-unit condo towers and about 906,000ft² of office space once complete.

MKA will handle structural engineering, while the mechanical, electrical and plumbing was awarded to Cosentini Associates of New York and TLC of Miami.

Arquitectonica GEO will manage landscape design, with Hugh Dutton Associates of Paris handling other design duties. Kimley-Horn will oversee civil engineering responsibilities.
