Honours for Architects

Peter Cook was singled out for a knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours list this year. The founder of the influential Archigram group in the 1960s, Cook was also the director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts from 1970 to 1972. He is also respected as an architect, teacher and writer.

Also honoured was leading contemporary architect David Adjaye, who has been awarded an OBE.
