A health project designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has been approved as part of London Mayor Boris Johnson's 100 Public Spaces programme.

The New Cross Gate Building Better Health project in London will feature a new health centre, community spaces, retail areas and 170 residential units, costing £35m.

Building Better Health plans to build a sustainable social enterprise to provide long-term services to the local community.

The contract has been awarded by the New Cross Gate Trust on behalf of New Cross Gate New Deal for Communities, the area-based regeneration partnership.
