Eight practices have been shortlisted to design four disabled-accessible beach huts at Buncombe’s beach, Bournemouth, England.
The project is part of the Buncombe’s Sea Change project funded by the UK Government.
The eight firms were shortlisted from 173 entries from China, USA, Japan and Peru.
The companies include Point of View by Liebermann, Hinsch, Nolte and Schwanitz and Alexandrina by Studio Weave.
The winning design will be announced in September with scheduled completion due in 2010.
