The new headquarters for Johnson & Johnson’s medical devices and diagnostics education division have been completed by UK firm tp Bennett.
The 12,000ft² building is built within mature woodland in Pinewood, England and is spread over three floors featuring an open-plan flexible work environment, meeting rooms, resource zones, restaurant and a gym.
The site also includes the UK’s first Vision Care Institute spreading over 6,450ft², featuring a reception, 40 person capacity auditorium, interactive voting facilities and AV connectivity to the examination rooms.
The project’s sustainable measures include FSC approved timber, provision of cyclist facilities and parking bays, a herb garden for use in the restaurant and an on-site composting and waste management system.
The institute will offer a state-of-the art interactive learning environment for eye care professionals, said Johnson and Johnson.
