Plans for a 200m-tall sustainable skyscraper, which will be the new headquarters of Shenzhen Energy Company in China, have been unveiled.
The façade of the 96,000m² building will be integrated with solar thermal panels to lower energy consumption at the building. The folded skin design of the façade will provide shading to the office.
Energy consumption at the building is expected to be reduced by more than 60% due to the combination of minimal passive solar heating and active solar panels.
