Australia's New South Wales (NSW) State Government has approved two developments at the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus.

The 10,000m² four-storey office and research building has been designed by Bates Smart, while S2F Architects designed a three-storey research, office and laboratory building outfitted with an entire wall of solar cells.

Both the buildings will offer 2,600m² of office space, with the office and research building expected to be leased by independent businesses, creating more job opportunities in Wollongong.

The university is planning to employ an architect to design the interior of the structure.
