London practice Foster Lomas has won planning permission for a 200m² cliff-edge house situated on the South Kent coast in England.

Foster Lomas collaborated with environmental consultants eb7 and Webb Yates engineers to design the building.

The lightweight house has a timber frame for minimal impact to reduce the risk of slipping on the steep site.

Preliminary work on the development has begun and the project is expected to complete in 2010.
