UK architects are well placed to win a huge volume of work from Brazil for its upcoming two major sporting events, according to a report by UK Trade & Investment.

Brazil is slated to host the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic Games in 2016.

The report states that £1.5bn may be spent on constructing and modernising 12 stadiums, while £1.4bn will be spent on expanding and modernising Brazilian airports.
