The UK's Oxford University will be home to two new landmark buildings, designed by London practice Bennetts Associates and US firm Rafael Viñoly Architects (RVA).

The two buildings are part of a new campus that will be built in the 4ha Radcliffe Infirmary site. It will include a humanities building and library designed by Bennetts Associates, and a mathematical institute by RVA.

Planning applications for the two new buildings is expected to be submitted to the Oxford City Council by end of October 2009.

Oxford City Council approved the first phase planning application for the Radcliffe Infirmary site in early October 2009.
