The small animal hospital at Glasgow University's Garscube campus has been awarded the Best Building Award by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.

The building, set within a park, beat 11 others to win £25,000 for its unique design, which features a rooftop lantern and a bold entrance.

The £15m facility opened in September has the capacity to treat more than 500 animals a week.
