UK-based architectural firm Benson + Forsyth has a designed a mixed-use 21-storey twin residential tower for Finsbury Park in North London.

The £80m ($128.4m) scheme is sited on a podium building, which houses shops and offices.

The project was won by Benson + Forsyth West following a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) competition, which required improving the quality of public spaces around Finsbury Park station and providing a range of land uses.

The other four shortlisted firms were John McAslan & Partners, Panter Hudspith, FLACQ and Studio Egret.

The 46,000m² scheme features a circular drum-like tower features a rectangular service shaft on the southern edge of the site.

The rectangular second tower is sited on Wells Terrace and perpendicular to the low-rise building, it will house 480 apartments as well as retail units.
