Barry Hobin and Ritchard Brisbin have been selected by Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group to design the Lansdowne Park in Ontario, Canada.

The redevelopment project includes Frank Clair Stadium, the Civic Centre Arena, the Aberdeen Pavilion Hall, Coliseum and other exhibition buildings.

The park is also the site of the annual Central Canada Exhibition.

The proposed redesign will involve the creation of expanded green spaces, and a revamp of the existing stadium and arena for sports and entertainment events.

The project aims to transform the area into a model urban facility for people to walk, cycle, shop, work, live and play.

Plans are also underway to reconstruct the Frank Clair Stadium and Civic Centre with mix stores, restaurants, offices, theatres and housing.

Toronto-based Cannon Design will deliver the design of the retail space as well as the Frank Clair Stadium.
