Morgan Ashurst has won a contract to design and build an eight-storey rectangular development in Central London.
The £6.3m scheme will feature offices and apartments and is being developed for an investment company.
The 2,500m² building will accommodate open-plan offices with balconies on the fifth floor.
A party wall will separate the commercial space with the development of a penthouse, one duplex and three single-storey apartments at the rear.
The scheme has been designed by Munkenbech and Partners Architects.
The structure will feature attractive brickwork and curtain walling, as well as Sto rendering and a mixture of timber and pressed aluminium cladding.
The building is expected to achieve a BREEAM rating of Excellent for its sustainable features such as solar panels, low-energy lifts and high-volume displacement ventilation systems.
The energy-efficient building will require neither heating nor cooling for 11 months of the year.
The project is expected to be completed in April 2011.
