HOK London Office Gets LEED-CI Gold Certification

The new office of HOK Architects in central London, UK has received the LEED Gold certification for commercial interiors from the US Green Building Council. The 20,000ft² scheme is the first office in the UK to receive the certification. It also received ISO 14001 certification for

The new office of HOK Architects in central London, UK has received the LEED Gold certification for commercial interiors from the US Green Building Council.

The 20,000ft² scheme is the first office in the UK to receive the certification. It also received ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.

The office was built in 2009. It features an open-plan interior layout and incorporates numerous breakout and conference areas to creating a flexible working environment, according to HOK.

Numerous sustainable materials, finishes and energy management solutions are also featured in the design.

In the past, ten other HOK offices also achieved LEED-CI certification.
