Work on the US Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center is 95% complete, with final completion slated for 18 May.
The $31.5m project has been funded by the 2002 Measure N $133.8m bond and is located on the east side of the campus, according to northbaybusinessjournal.com.
The 47,000ft² LEED scheme will feature a gym, library, life sciences building, chiller plant, solar field, parking, art classrooms, improved ball field and an upgraded tennis court.
Its three-storey façade will serve as a gateway to the campus, and includes a 500-seat proscenium theatre and a 100-seat actors’ studio.
Designed by HGA Architects and Engineers the centre’s first level will house a studio theatre with catwalks, scene shop, costume studio and acting studio.
The second level will include performance space and a lobby. The third level will feature music, choral and orchestral rehearsal spaces; practice rooms and piano classrooms.
