Falconer Chester Hall architects has received planning consent for a mixed-use scheme at Liverpool City Centre in the UK.
The £56m ($84.8m) project features a 140-bedroom, three-star hotel and a 130-bedroom budget hotel as well as 113 post-graduate studio units and 247 basement car park spaces.
Designs will add a family of buildings and a dynamic city, street and roofscape, according to architectsjournal.co.uk.
Work onsite will begin this year. The first phase of the project will be complete in 2011 with the full scheme to be ready for its opening in 2012.
