Australian architects Norman Day + Associates will design the new PetroVietnam University project in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The practice will collaborate with New Zealand architects Brewer Davidson on the $1.3bn project.
Construction work on the campus, located on a 300ha site near Noi Bai International Airport, will begin in 2011.
The sustainable campus will feature low-rise buildings including laboratories, workshops and an industrial park.
The campus will employ rainwater harvesting and other energy-conservation measures, according to architectureanddesign.com.au.
