Planning consent has been granted for new academic buildings designed by Rafael Viñoly and Bennetts Associates for Oxford University in the UK.

Rafael Viñoly’s mathematical institute and humanities building and Bennetts’ library will be part of the new £1.25bn ($1.8bn) campus on the site, which previously housed the Radcliffe Infirmary, according to bdonline.co.uk.

The two quadrilateral-shaped buildings are equipped with a library, which faces the Grade 1-listed Radcliffe Observatory.
