Leading Architects to Participate in London Festival

Daniel Libeskind, Sir John Ritblat, Francine Houben and Rafael Viñoly will present talks at the London Festival of Architecture (LFA), which will be held from 19 June to 4 July.

The festival theme, "The Welcoming City", will showcase a range of specially designed pavilions, installations and exhibitions built throughout the city for use as public spaces.

RIBA London, The Architecture Foundation and New London Architecture curate the LFA which is structured over three weekends across three London hubs central, east and south of the city.

The festival is run in conjunction with cultural partners including the British Council, Tate Modern, London Metropolitan University and the V&A.

The festival will be open for public and community interactions, and will run a series of activities as well as events throughout the capital.

The 300-event festival is expected to attract 250,000 visitors.
