US-based Aecom has unveiled designs for a proposed new football stadium and renovated pavilion at the University of Houston in Texas, US.

The 40,000-seat football stadium will be built on the site of the existing Robertson Stadium, and will cost $120m.

The stadium will feature 22 luxury suites, while the Hofheinz Pavilion will feature 350 new seats and will be built for approximately $40m.

Investment for the project will be secured through a fundraising campaign, which will begin soon, according to the Associated Press.
