AIA Billings Index Drops in May

The American Institute of Architects billing index fell by three points to 45.8 in May 2010, following three months of improvement. In April, the architecture billings index rose to its highest score since January 2008, which seemed to indicate a recovery in the construction industry.

The American Institute of Architects billing index fell by three points to 45.8 in May 2010, following three months of improvement.

In April, the architecture billings index rose to its highest score since January 2008, which seemed to indicate a recovery in the construction industry.

The index for new enquiries, however, has continued to rise with a score of 55.5 in May, according to bdonline.co.uk.
