UK practice Studiodare has unveiled designs for a new Northern Line station in London, UK.

The station scheme is part of the £850m ($130bn) extension of the London Underground network.

The practice is working along with Buro Happold as part of the Halcrow-led design team for the station.

The line extension will feature a spur from Kennington station and will link the new stations at Nine Elms and the grade II-listed Battersea power station, which is being redesigned by by Rafael Viñoly Architects.

The extension, currently undergoing public consultation, is part financed by Battersea power station developer Treasury Holdings.

The practice is expected to submit a transport and works application to the Royal Institute of British Architects for the scheme.
