The station scheme is part of the £850m ($130bn) extension of the London Underground network.

The practice is working along with Buro Happold as part of the Halcrow-led design team for the station.

The line extension will feature a spur from Kennington station and will link the new stations at Nine Elms and the grade II-listed Battersea power station, which is being redesigned by by Rafael Viñoly Architects.

The extension, currently undergoing public consultation, is part financed by Battersea power station developer Treasury Holdings.
