Skanska has secured a contract to renovate a 17,000m² office building in Stavanger, Norway.
Under the NKr264m ($41.4m) contract, the company will also construct a 420m² extension.
The project is being delivered for property company Entra, which aims to reduce the building’s energy consumption to 25% below the stipulated Norwegian building standards.
Preparatory work has already begun and construction is scheduled to start in February 2011.
The scheme is expected to be complete in December 2012.
