Aedas Architects is to design a £48m new bus station in Bolton, UK, which is expected to replace the existing station at Moor Lane.

The station also features a walkway link to the train station.

The scheme is being delivered for the Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority.

The modern glass and steel building will also feature retail and office spaces, as well as a prayer room, public toilet facilities and a mobility shop for disabled passengers.

A full planning application is expected to be submitted early next year, according to theboltonnews.co.uk.
