The GPT Group said it will soon begin work on an A$60m ($52m) office development at Sydney Olympic Park in Australia.

The 60,500m² project, delivered under the Sydney Olympic Park Authority 2030 master plan, will include three campus buildings in an area of 42,000m².

Work on the first stage of the project involves building 12,200m² of A-grade campus-style office space. Construction on this will begin in August this year and will be completed in 2012.

The project is expected to be the first development in Sydney to target a 6 Green Star rating, according to architectureanddesign.com.au.
