Designs for a £22.5m ($34.5m) performance venue in Doncaster, England, UK, were unveiled as part of larger regeneration plans.

The building will be located on a 25 acre site and will feature a new public square, a 600-seat auditorium, dance and drama studios, meeting rooms, a bar and café.

On receiving the planning consent and selection of a contractor, construction is scheduled to begin in 2011.

The project is being delivered by Muse Developments in association with Doncaster Council.

The venue is expected to open in 2013, reports BBC News.
