Hopkins to Design Indian Cricket Facility

UK-based practice Hopkins has been appointed to design an international cricket stadium in Kochi, India. The 50,000-seat stadium, to be located in an area of 23 acres, will feature 400m of water frontage. Work on the stadium is expected to begin soon, according to the Press

The 50,000-seat stadium, to be located in an area of 23 acres, will feature 400m of water frontage.

Work on the stadium is expected to begin soon, according to the Press Trust of India.

The project will include a practice stadium, an indoor practice area and international-quality turf wickets with facilities for conducting day / night matches and test matches.
