Fentress Architects to Design US Courthouse

US-based practice Fentress Architects, in association with Dreyfuss & Blackford Architects, has been selected to design the new 163,000ft² Yolo County courthouse in California, US. The $173m project will be delivered for California State Administrative Office of the Courts.

The $173m project will be delivered for California State Administrative Office of the Courts.

The new facility will consolidate seven court locations throughout the county into one central facility.

It will feature 14 courtrooms, jury assembly and administrative and judicial offices and 400 parking spaces.

The scheme is expected to be complete in 2014 and aims to achieve LEED Silver certification by the US Green Building Council.
