The National Museum in Krakow, Poland, has completed a four-year renovation of the Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art.
The renovation involved restoring the original 19th-century character of the gallery along with renovation of the museum’s four exhibition halls.
Furthermore 1,000m² of new space has been added, which will feature retail spaces on the roof.
The upgrade worth 23.5m zloty ($7.6m) secured half of the funding from the polish state and half has been secured from Norway Grants.
The gallery is set to open in September this year, according to krakowpost.com.
