Ground-breaking for the proposed new science building at Utah Valley University in Utah, US, has taken place.

The $45m building will be located between the campus’s physical education building and Sorensen Student Center.

The planned three-storey stainless steel and glass building will include 12 classrooms, 27 labs and a 400-seat auditorium.

Work on the project will be complete in 2012, according to ksl.com.
