International architecture practice Squire and Partners has submitted plans for a mixed-use scheme on Potters Field, next to Tower Bridge in London, UK.

The residential and cultural development, to be known as One Tower Bridge, features nine apartment blocks and a large cultural facility.

The new scheme replaces a previous high-rise scheme designed by Ian Ritchie, which was rejected by landowner Berkeley Homes and the London Borough of Southwark.

New access to connect the riverside to Tooley Street and Tower Bridge Road will also be created, according to architectsjournal.co.uk.
