Liverpool City Council Approves Everyman Theatre Plans

The £28m ($43.1m) project involves upgrade of an existing 6,000ft² building to a 15,500ft² facility along with a 1,022ft² loading bay.

The project also includes construction of a new 400-seat theatre, renovation of the existing Everyman Bistro bar and restaurant, front-of-house, catering and bar facilities as well as rehearsal space and production workshops.

Work under the redevelopment project is scheduled to begin next year and the new Everyman Theatre is expected to be open in 2013, according to placenorthwest.co.uk.
