The design report for the community corridor planning (CCP) has been submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) for final review.

Residents from the respective neighbourhoods have explored the design ideas of MassDOT in a three-day workshop as part of the land-use planning process.

CCP advisory team member Peter Marquez said report serves as a reference guide for the development of stations for the Green Line extension.

The workshop has identified a number of themes including station designs integrated into communities, visible stations that serve as iconic landmarks, and incorporation of sustainable and environmentally friendly design and materials.
