Design plans for the proposed New Mexico Veterans' Museum in the US will be unveiled next month.

The two-storey museum and separate buildings that would house the city's veterans' service centre will be located on a 33-acre tract off of US Highway 70.

The $28m scheme is expected to house a military-style grassed parade ground with public seating, an amphitheater, library, and a family playground and picnic area.

The final design of the museum and outdoor facilities will be completed within the next year, according to lcsun-news.com.
