Shortlist for Scottish Centre Revealed

Five architectural practices have been shortlisted to design a new visitor security screening facility at the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, Scotland, UK. The five practices are Atkins, Jordan & Bateman Architects, Lee Boyd, Nicoll Russell Studios Architects and Reiach and Hall

Five architectural practices have been shortlisted to design a new visitor security screening facility at the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, Scotland, UK.

The five practices are Atkins, Jordan & Bateman Architects, Lee Boyd, Nicoll Russell Studios Architects and Reiach and Hall Architects.

Work will involve designing a 250m² extended security and screening centre to replace the existing public entrance on Horse Wynd.

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body is expected to name a winner in January 2011, according to architectsjournal.co.uk.
