US-based practice 360 Architecture has been selected to design a new baseball stadium in San Jose, US.

The $500m initial phase will include construction of a 65,000-seat park for Oakland Athletics (AA), a US-based baseball team.

The practice will also design a separate stadium near the San Jose airport for the Earthquakes soccer team, also owned by AA owner Lew Wolff.

Both the proposed stadiums will be funded privately.
