Funding Received Towards UK Museum Extension

The British Museum in the London, UK, has received partial funding for a new conservation and exhibitions centre at the site. The scheme received £25m ($38m) from Lord John Sainsbury, a member of UK Conservative Party. The new extension has been designed by Lord Richard Rog

The scheme received £25m ($38m) from Lord John Sainsbury, a member of UK Conservative Party.

The new extension has been designed by Lord Richard Rogers and is expected to cost £135m ($207m).

The UK Government will contribute £22.5m ($34.6 m), while other private donors will also provide funding towards the project.
