Plans have been unveiled for a proposed revamp of the existing North Park in the city of Wapello in Iowa, US.

Al Bohling of Shive-Hattery Engineering of Cedar Rapids and landscape architect Justin Robertshaw have together designed five different plans for the scheme.

The designs include three ball fields, a multi-use field, a 700-seat roofed horse arena, a demolition derby area, an upgraded recreational vehicle and camping area, and a parking area.

Each plan showed the new features arranged in different areas of the park.

The park authority will raise funds for the project once the final design is selected, according to the Muscatine Journal.

Currently the park features four ball fields and a grandstand.
