Work has begun on a new 18,000-seat football stadium to be located in Texas, US. The $59.6m Allen Eagle Stadium will be built for Allen High School, and is touted as the largest in the state. The stadium will feature a sunken-bowl design, two-tier press box, video scoreboard

Work has begun on a new 18,000-seat football stadium to be located in Texas, US.

The $59.6m Allen Eagle Stadium will be built for Allen High School, and is touted as the largest in the state.

The stadium will feature a sunken-bowl design, two-tier press box, video scoreboard, weight room, wrestling practice room, and even an indoor area for golf practice in bad weather.

The new stadium will also include 1,500 parking space, concession stands at all four corners, restrooms and a wall of honour plaza.

The multipurpose stadium will be used for soccer as well as university and junior football games, according to dallasnews.com.
