US-based practice KZF Design and WA have been selected to design a new casino in Cincinnati, US.
Cincinnati based Woolpert will lead the civil engineering work on the $400m casino project to be delivered for developer Rock Gaming.
The developer has also appointed Las Vegas architecture firm Friedmutter Group to assist the design team for the project which is expected to be open by 2012.
Work on the project is expected to begin this year on the 300,000 square-foot casino to be built on a 20-acre site between Broadway and Reading Road.
The general contractor for the project is expected to selected later this year, according to Cincinnati.com.
