Work Begins on Mongolian Tower

The proposed tower will feature the image of a Morin Khuur or horse head-fiddle, a Mongolian bowed stringed instrument.

The scheme has been planned jointly by artist D Erdembilegt with architect S Ochir-Erdene and designer T Zolbayar.

The 21-storey tower will feature a service shop, an office, a landing field for airplanes in the tower, a modern road, a square as well as a bridge exit around the tower.

The tower will become the biggest showcasing a musical instrument upon completion, according to mongolnews.
