Work will begin at the new academic building for the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK, in October.

The £17.8m ($28m) academic building will house the school of law, politics and sociology and the school of business, management and economics.

The sustainable scheme will be the biggest lecture theatre on the university's campus at Falmer.

The 8,000m² project will be delivered by UK-based construction company Morgan Sindall.

Work is due to complete in April 2012, according to local sources.
