UK-based S333 Architecture + Urbanism has received planning consent for a new multipurpose building project in the city of Plymouth, England.

The 10,000m² building will feature 1,050m² of office space, 775m² of public plaza, car park space and a green sedum roof measuring 2,000m².

The £8.5m ($13.5m) building forms part of a newly planned entrance and visitor hub to the city's Derriford Hospital.

The project will feature walkways, terraces and areas of shelter made with floor plates creating a natural slope.

Work will begin by the end of the year and will be complete in 2012, according to bdonline.co.uk.
