Plans to regenerate a half-mile section of Edge Lane Road in Liverpool, UK, have been submitted to the local council for approval.
The £200m ($318m) proposal would transform the section, which also includes a disused retail park.
The revamp plan, if approved, will feature retail and leisure units, restaurants and a new community park.
The project is being delivered by landowners Derwent Holdings, Liverpool Vision and the city council.
DPP John Francis said, “This is a very significant step towards securing the future regeneration of this important area of Liverpool,” according to BBC News.
